Such a good anime, it could be a hour long and still feel to short.

Watching Ruby hug it out with Paul did make me cry. We say a lot of dumb stuff in self-deprecating pity for ourselves. We need time to calm the F down and the courage to apologise.
This year is ending, let's not carry over grudges into the year.

i think people don't notice just how crucial the bartender was to this. this would have ended much differently had he not decided to butt in. rudy would have left and paul would never have his chance to reconcile with him and would have to watch the result of his own actions slowly destroy what connection he had with rudy. and rudy would forever think his dad hated him and that he wasn't good enough. all that was changed because of that bartender deciding he wasn't going to let it end this way.

Can't wait for the rest of the season to be dubbed!

Ahh! This episode was fantastic. Thie opening sequence alone had me in tears Paul wouldn't lost it long ago if Norn hadn't been with him. She was his guiding light when he finally realizes how ungrateful he was that his son returned safety, when things could have gone much worse, he immediately sets out to apologize.... something Rudeus realized he couldn't do it in his previous life due to his stupid pride. That understanding was enough to brinde the gap between them. Rudy appears to have a newfound appreciation for his current family and his determined to find the missing members!

ay that was a good talk geece to the dad. side note:i be forgetting the MC is a 40 year old man

Dang, this anime really surprises me with such excellent timing and weight to every scene. Having the fight scene in one episode and the reunion in the next really did this moment justice.

Dam..this really cuts me.. don’t you can’t you see people in pain… nobody wants to be in a social exclusive living condition … rejected by the society but still keep up to living .. right.. this anime just just deep in dark side, human trafficking, killing beating prison, but to the mistakes people neglect which makes life so much miserable. Comparison all day long, but people just don’t see how some people strike up for despite their bad situations.. so really shouldn’t have any judgments towards people , when not really knowing their past. That mid schooler had his clumsy way to cheer the main character up.. but eventually poke his delicate wounded heart.. all come with good intentions in heart but all made mistakes.. I had my bias to obesity.. but really. Nobody wants to be bad.. the situation got people. People adopt to their environment to survive.. if the environment is good, people can thrive easily. How society has become… ladder people in rank, and give them different amount resources to draw from.. no equality or fairness. People had to get by with whatever they have in their hands. I was forgetting what was season one to binge season 2.. now it gets me now.. right… not to indulge self in pity , gotta stand up…

one thinig i find depressing is how most people who got themselves out of the bad hand they were dealt spread the word like its something anyone in that situation could do. but the thing is not everyone has a strong enough will. not everyone has the strength to make the best out of a bad situation. and more often than not people act like being weak willed is something you choose as if its your own fault. i myself am a weak willed person. the reason i can't be bothered to try anymore is not because i am lazy. its because i have tried so many times and the pain of each failure has chipped away at my motivation to continue. over and over and over. chip after chip after chip till it i its nothing but a pile of brittle. i am too damn tired of feeling the pain of failure.

I can't lie. The first cour was mid... trash compared to this thus far. I gave the first cour a 5/10 and literally considered dropping the anime since it seemed haphazard. But this has a solid cohesive plot: Find/ reunite with the missing members. While I did side with Paul in the previous episode, this episode does make sense too. The main reason why I sided with Paul is that MAINLY Rudy is not a typical 11/12 year old. Even if we ignore the fact that he is a reincarnation. He is a literal genius. So Paul did have a point when he asked him why he never thought about the other stuff + Rudy was telling him lies about how incredible their adventure was. But either way, I am glad they made up. Some animes wouldn't have resolved it this fast.

no he didn't. as geese so aptly put it rudy had more on his plate than a normal person would. genius is why he barely made it by. even with his reincarnated mind he still had a child's body with a child's limits. expecting a literal child genius or not to 1 survive being dropped in unfamiliar not to mention extremely hostile territory having never been on an adventure before. WHILE having to protect another person at all costs, 2 having the sole other person who is basically crucial to your survival be of a tribe who all existing knowledge and history say that they betray their allies, not hard to deduce that this one might very well be the same. like seriously the very LEAST he could do is express happiness that this son is ALIVE not only that but fully intact instead of you know mentally broken or missing limbs.

True just glad they ended up getting over their differences, what might seem adventurous sometimes has a dark side to the ending and he realizes that not everyone could have done what Rudy did to survive

because rudy had a job to do to bring eris back. but there were still people missing and they could be more efficient if paul kept searching. every person searching counts. in addition rudy is now in more familiar territory with FAR less dangerous monsters. so paul can be more at ease having confirmed rudy is alive and well and that he is in good hands.
